Chris Mashburn Foundation Event: Softball Tournment

Committed to Enriching the Quality Of Children's Lives Through Athletics

Thank you to all that participated in the 2007 memorial softball tournament. With team participation and financial contributions from the local businesses in the community CMMF was able to provide scholarships for children at the Pleasant Hill Baseball/Softball Association for the 2006 spring season, sponsor of the Community Youth Center-Concord Campus Friendship Invitational and scholarships for the AYSO VIP soccer organization.

CMMF hopes to give and establish relationships with other qualifying 501 (c) 3 organizations in the coming years, helping to make an impact for underprivileged youth with their athletic endeavors and to develop good sportsmanship and self-esteem.

We are planning for this years tournament and hope to see all of you out there. It's sure to be a great time for all.

Why: The purpose of this event is to remember Chris, who loved a great game of ball. This is the 5th year for this tournament and the foundation is looking forward to teams coming together to have a fun and memorable time while contributing to the CMMF. All of the event net proceeds go directly to the children in our community.
